Since 2008 Mayor of London Boris Johnson has succeed in freezing City Halls share of Council tax, whilst the former Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone managed to put up City Hall's share by 152%. Boris Johnson careful management of City Hall finances has resulted in a saving of £445.05 for each household in Greenwich and Lewisham.
